MapleSage Data Deletion Instructions

1. How to Request Data Deletion

If you wish to delete data associated with a MapleSage application or service, you may submit a request by email.

Email Request

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line:

Data Deletion Request – Meta App

Please include:

• Your full name
• The email address associated with your Facebook or Meta account
• The name of the MapleSage application or service, if known
• Any additional information that may help us locate your data

Once we receive your request:

1. We may verify your identity or account ownership where reasonably necessary to protect your information.
2. We will acknowledge the request within 48 hours.
3. Personal data covered by the request will be deleted from our active systems within 30 calendar days, unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

2. Automatic Deletion

Where a MapleSage application provides a Meta-supported data deletion mechanism, users may also initiate deletion through that mechanism.

If an automated deletion endpoint is available for the applicable application, the request may be processed automatically and the user will receive confirmation through the mechanism provided by the application.

3. What Happens After Deletion

When a valid deletion request is processed, MapleSage will delete personal data associated with the relevant Meta account from its active systems, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, audit, or other legitimate retention requirements.

Some information may therefore be retained where we are legally required or permitted to retain it. Where retained, such information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
